Sgt. Zach’s Freedom Foundation exists to provide military Veterans in the local area with life changing care for symptoms related to post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and traumatic brain injury (TBI).  This type of care actually improves how their brains are functioning so they can get back to living their lives, being there for their families and contributing to society again.  Unfortunately, as you may know, many Veterans are not getting the care they need from the VA and some end up taking their own lives.  In fact, according to the statistics, more than 20 Veterans commit suicide every day.

Veteran suicide was the driving force behind the creation of Sgt. Zach’s Freedom Foundation.  Our Founder and Executive Director, Dr. Elliot Hirshorn, lost his brother to suicide as a result of his lack of care from the VA for PTSD and TBI.  Sgt. Zach didn’t get to Celebrate Another Birthday beyond his 30th.  The goal of this campaign is therefore to help Veterans get their lives back so they can live to Celebrate Another Birthday with their friends and loved ones.

We would absolutely love your support!  Every dollar donated is 100% tax-deductible and 100% of every dollar goes directly to the care of Veterans.

We also invite you to attend Sgt. Zach’s Freedom Foundation Cornhole Tournament & Auction on Saturday, June 10th, 2017 from 4-7pm at 227 N Main St, Simpsonville.  Go to www.CelebrateAnotherBirthday.org to register for your tickets.

Watch the stories of Chris and Gavin below.  Both were helped with the life changing care your donation will provide...
